The Badminton Ireland All-Ireland Schools Finals took place on Wednesday, 6th April 2011 at Gormanston College. Well done to all teams who qualified and participated on the day and congratulations to all our winners. An All-Ireland Final is never easy to win and this was clearly evident in all age groups at the Finals.
A special thanks to Breda Connolly, President of Badminton Ireland, who was on hand on the day to judge and select the winner for the Best Presented School Award and and to present the All Ireland medals to all winners and runner-ups. The Best Presented School Award which makes up part of our All Ireland Final Day Parade was deservedly won by Scared Heart, Westport who once again raised the bar for the day. The students designed a giant racket in honour of the occasion! Full results below.
